Nigeria’s former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has reportedly held a meeting with people who have access to Boko Haram. He is allegedly attempting to negotiate the release of the
abducted school girls.
The meeting took place last weekend at Obasanjo’s farm in Ogun State according to Vanguard. Attendees included relatives of some senior Boko Haram fighters and intermediaries.
The outcome of the meeting is unknown.
