Photos:Two notorious armed robbers killed in shootout with police in Rivers State, guns, machete recovered
The armed robbers had gone there to attack the Chairman and his family at about 2am, but were repelled by the officers on duty who engaged them in a shoot-out leading to the death of two Armed Robbers.
Other Armed Robbers who were on guard outside, on sighting men of the Anti-Robbery Squad from Special Area, led by the CSP Ibe Chike, opened fire on the Police. The police responded and chased them as they ran into the bush. The bushes have been combed but to no avail.
However efforts are in top gear to track and arrest other members of the robbery gang. Items recovered include one (1) English Made Pistol, one (1) Locally made Barrel Gun, one (1) Locally made Pistol, one (1) machete and four (4) pieces of expended cartridges.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Omoni Nnamdi, confirmed that the Commissioner of Police has ordered the transfer of the case to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) for a discreet Investigation.
"The Commissioner of Police, CP Francis M. Odesanya, wishes to assure the good people of the state to have faith in the Police as we are irrevocably committed to fighting crime and criminality in Rivers State. He urged the Public to always share intelligence with the Police and to be conscious of those living in their neighborhoods, especially in the forth-coming yuletide season," the PPRO emphasized

Prince George's County Police said Wednesday, a home surveillance system recorded Oyindasola taking a nap when the crying infant, eight-month-old Enita Salubi, approached her in a toddler walker.
According to Police, Oyindasola unsuccessfully tried to feed the child, then when she got frustrated with the infant not wanting to eat, she 'proceeded to pour a large amount of white liquid directly inside the victim's mouth'.
Col. Harry Bond with Prince George's County Police said:
'She forcefully poured the two bottles of what looks to be milk down the baby's mouth, causing her to not be able to breathe, suffocating her, and eventually she died at the hospital.'The Police also released a press statement which read:
'On October 24th, at about 4.10pm, the baby had been rushed to a hospital after she became unresponsive at home. 'She was pronounced dead a short time later. An autopsy on Tuesday revealed the baby’s cause of death was asphyxiation. The manner of death was ruled a homicide. 'The preliminary investigation revealed the injuries to the baby occurred while in the sole care and custody of Oyindasola.' Oyindasol 'is in the custody of the Department of Corrections,' the release said.Oyindasola, is being held on $1million bond.

Teacher admits to putting his male organ inside the mouth of a 12 year old girl but denies raping her
After he defiled the girl, he said he didn't expect her to tell her parents but she did. The little girl told her mum who raised the alarm and reported the case Ikotun Police Division.
The Police went to his home and arrested him.
While paraded by the Police Olamilekan, told newsmen what happened. He said:
“I usually teach the victim and two others after school hours at Ikotun. When the girl was brought to my place, I said they should buy a notebook for her, but her parents did not. Last Wednesday, I gave her an assignment, but she did not do it. When she came to me on Thursday during school period, I asked of the notebook, she said her mother did not give her the money. I told her to go to JSS one class and join the other two girls; that I would soon be with them.
“When I was done with my classes, I joined them there and taught them for the day. My house is not far from the school. My mum called me to come home and do the dishes. “I told the girl to go with me, that I would buy the notebook for her at a woman’s shop near my house. She went with me; I bought the book for her and she said she was hungry. I bought biscuit for her and as I was about to go, the woman said I should bring her bottle which had been with me. I told her I would bring it later, but she refused. She said the victim should go with me to the house, so that I would give her the bottle. That was how the girl went with me to the house.
“I took her inside our parlour. I put her on the chair and put my manhood in her mouth. I did not touch her private part. They have done a test and confirmed I did not touch her there. She did not cry and she did not complain. But she went home and reported to her parents. “I only put my male organ inside the mouth of the girl. I did not rape her. I just do not know what got into me.
However, I’m ready to face the consequences of my action. I know I have committed a crime and I’m guilty.Whatever is my punishment; I’ll face it and hope God would have mercy on me. I have never done something like this before. I do not have a girlfriend"Lagos state police command spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, says the suspect will be charged for indecent assault.

After the debate, undecided voters who were interviewed by CNN were asked if the debate helped them decide which candidate they would vote for, 5 of them said Hilary Clinton, 10 said Donald Trump while 6 said they would vote third party.
