We do not consider Nnamdi Kanu an Igbo leader of thought- Presidency

Special Adviser to the president on political matters, Babafemi Ojudu, says the presidency does not consider leader of the Indeginous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, as a leader of thought in the South East. Speaking to journalists on Sunday, Ojudu said the consultations currently being carried out by acting president Yemi Osinbajo is strictly with identifiable leaders of thought and at the moment, Kanu is not one of such leaders in the South East. He said:

“Well, the thing is that we were looking for leaders of the people, leaders of thought and we do not see him as a leader of thought in the east. May be opportunity will come at one time or the other for him to be engaged. But so far, what we have done is to look at people who have influence in the communities, whether it is religious, whether it is traditional, whether it is political, social or governance. These are the people we brought in for discussion”.

Yay! Beyoncé’s Twins are Finally Here

Great news!

Beyoncé and Jay Z have finally welcomed their twins and we are super excited for the Carters.

As expected, the BeyHive have taken over social media to express their joy for their queen.

The news of Beyonce’s birthday was confirmed by E! but so far further details of the birth – like the exact date and gender of the twins – remain unknown.

According to E!, on Thursday, Jay Z and Blue Ivy were spotted at a Los Angeles hospital, where an unidentified woman carrying a bouquet of pink, purple and blue flowers along with two giant baby foot-shaped pink and blue balloons that read, “Baby Girl” and “Baby Boy”, was photographed dropping off the gift at the same Los Angeles hospital.

Upon inspection, the card attached to the flowers had a visible “B+J” written on the floral envelope.

Congrats to the Carters!

I will run for president in 2019- Fayose

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, says he will run for president in 2019. Fayose disclosed this when he spoke with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Friday. He said:

"I have defeated two incumbent governors in two different attempts. So, defeating the All Progressives Congress in the coming presidential election would be a walkover. Many did not believe that I can come back as governor of Ekiti State after eight years. I don’t know how God did it. This time, I am going to the presidency. God is taking me there but I don’t know how. I have penchant for taking powers; that one in Buhari’s hand. I would take it. I’m going straight to that Villa. I’m the next president. I want to be the next president of Nigeria. My own won’t be this change that has brought nothing. We are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth" he said
