'Hand of God' pictured emerging from the clouds by photographer in UK

38 year old British photographer David Christie said he captured the stunning moment a gigantic 'hand' appeared through the clouds above his home...and he thinks the fist-like wind funnel is the 'Hand of God'.
"I love weather photography and I've taken a few pictures of small wind funnels in the past. But this was something else. It looked as through there was a huge hand piercing through the clouds - it was phenomenal. It really did seem like the hand of God. My wife and I are both photographers and we've never seen anything like this. This was a very surreal experience." He told reporters

Captain Benjamin Toyiring Sule was killed in the line of duty in an ambush in Bama, Borno State today August 4th by Boko Haram men. He got married just last November. He was posted to Borno state just four months ago. He's survived by his parents, siblings and young wife. Too sad! May his soul rest in peace amen....

Pic of 'ghost wielding axe' aboard old military ship causes storm

A photo showing a 'ghost wielding an axe' and peering around a doorway on board an old military decommissioned vessel has caused quite a stir. The photo was posted on Imgur by a dock worker named Stevgoldhound.
"Last month we came into dry dock to carry out refit and repairs. Next to us was an old Military frigate being broken down for scrap. Once all the sensitive stuff had been removed, the dock workers were free to go on. The dock foreman, 'John' went on board first with a camera to take pictures of work areas. He later sent all of the pics to his boss, who upon seeing this one, called John straight away asking 'Who is the guy with the axe at the edge of the camera flash?' John had no idea. He never saw anyone. Due to the fact that it was a military vessel the police were called.
"A search was carried out but no one was found. There was one way on and off the ship, and that was by a gangway covered by CCTV."Stevgoldhound said
An Imgur user helped Stevgoldhound to clean up the image, and adjusted the light levels to reveal an even more haunting picture. Continue...
Of course it might be a hoax, but when the enhanced image was posted on Reddit, some users suggested another explanation.
"It just looks like an old hobo who was startled that someone was in his home taking pictures so he grabbed an axe and peeked around a corner to see what was up," said one.
Another added: "If this man had been living on the vessel for any amount of time he knows the floor layout better than a bunch of random cops.
"The ships are huge, you could disappear for a long time in one."
But Stevgoldhound is not convinced:
I am a sceptic. Maybe its a trick of the flash reflecting off something, but if you really zoom in you can just make out the f*****s face, ear, collar of his jacket and the f*****g axe in a meaty f*****g fist. Now it could be John blowing smoke up my ass, but when he was telling the story he seemed genuinely rattled. And the guy in the pic looks nothing any of the other workers we met at the dock. This gave me serious goosebumps. Needless to say, I did not go on board for a look."

Boko Haram's Ambition – Intelligence Source Reveals

A high-level Nigerian security source told Sahara Reporters that Nigeria’s intelligence agencies have received “credible reports that Boko Haram has developed an
ambitious plan to overwhelm and take over Kano, Kaduna, Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa states.”
The source said the terrorists plan to carry out their design by intensifying its bombings and choosing locations that would yield high casualty figures. “Their move is to encircle [Nigeria’s capital city of] Abuja and increase the level of political instability in the country.”
The high-level intelligence agent further disclosed that…
The shape of the terror group’s plans have emerged from the confessions of some Boko Haram insurgents who were captured recently. “We have also acquired a lot of information about their [Boko Haram’s] plans through our interrogation of Aminu Sadiq Oguche.”
Mr. Oguche, who was recently extradited to Nigeria from Sudan, is accused of masterminding some of the recent high-profile bomb blasts in Nigeria, including explosions at a bus station in Abuja that claimed more than 100 lives. In addition, security agents have gleaned “significant and useful intelligence” from interrogating one Mohammed Zakari, described as “the chief butcher” of Boko Haram. Mr. Zakari was recently arrested in Bauchi, capital of Bauchi State.
Our source said that Nigeria’s security agencies are stepping up counter-insurgency measures to forestall Boko Haram’s plans to spread its tentacles to the states they are targeting.
“Apart from information we have gathered from interrogating suspects, we are also tracking critical conversations by the group’s hierarchy and examining sensitive documents recovered after recent raids on their bases in Bauchi, Jigawa and Borno states,” the source said.
Our source added that President Goodluck Jonathan and a few other government officials had been briefed about the new threats by Boko Haram as well as the outline of the plans to counter the group’s ambitious push.
A senior Islamic scholar in Northern Nigeria, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said his group was cooperating with the government to defeat Boko Haram. “We discussed with President Jonathan when we met during the end of the Ramadan fast and told him that we are ready to help stop Boko Haram. But we also told him that this is something the government must take action on. We’re doing our own, but we have limitations,” he said.

Ghana has officially banned flights from 4 West African countries; Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Nigeria, citing concerns about the rapid spread of the Ebola virus, which has claimed several lives.
Charles Asare, Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company, said the measure was part of a set of emergency management plans officials are rolling out to combat the spread of the virus. Continue..
The government there has also implemented strict restrictions on the movement and management of Liberian refugees in camps in the country.
